Yusuf Corker
DB Yusuf Corker 6'1 175lbs of Stockbridge, GA recently visited Vanderbilt and on Monday he picked up an offer from the Vols. He has also been to USC and Wake Forest and for his next visit he’s looking at Florida or Tennessee. Corker said he last heard from USC recruiter Travaris Robinson about a week ago.
“He said we need you at South Carolina and if there’s anything we can do and stuff,” Corker said. “They are still tied at the top, my number. They are tied with Wake Forest. They talk about how much they really need me and the versatility I can bring to the program. They (both schools) talked about education and grades. And I talked to both head coaches and what they were saying was pretty good.”
Corker said if he had to make a decision today he couldn’t do it and he hopes to have a decision in July. Behind his top two are North Carolina, Duke and Kentucky.
Corker also has been offered by Clemson but isn’t hearing much from the Tigers right now. Some of his other offers are Auburn, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, East Carolina, Stanford, Florida and Arkansas.
