USC target WR Dre Massey commits to Florida, WR Bryan Edwards did not make his visit Saturday

USC target WR Dre Massey of Mauldin and Holmes JC, MS committed to Florida over the weekend while on his official visit. “They need my speed and my explosiveness,” Massey said. “Perfect fit and amazing atmosphere and coaching staff. Big future.” Massey also took official visits to Cincinnati and Oklahoma and was scheduled to visit the Gamecocks this coming weekend and Auburn December 12th but said he’s finished with recruiting and won’t take any more visits.
Former USC commitment WR Bryan Edwards of Conway did not make it to the game Saturday. Edwards, who is a Mr. Football finalist, saw his season end prematurely due to a knee injury. He said Sunday Clemson, USC and Georgia are on his short list. Obviously the coaching situations at USC and Georgia are forcing him to slow down the process though he can’t wait too long because he’s a December graduate. “I’m just taking my time and don’t really have anything set in stone,” he said about his official visits. “Only time will tell.” Edwards has taken his official visit to Clemson. Asked about a favorite, Edwards replied, “No, I don’t have any leaders.”
