USC already has struck twice in the state of Louisiana with commitments from WR Tre Jackson and OL Lloyd Cushenberry. The Gamecocks also are a factor with DE Travez Moore (6-3 240) of Bastrop. LSU and TCU are his top two but the Gamecocks are still in the hunt at #3 on his list.
“I’ve been talking to South Carolina a lot,” said Moore who is being recruited by defensive line coach Deke Adams. “Talking about each other’s families, getting to know each other, how each of us thinks. I’m talking to all of the coaches on Twitter.”
Moore had planned to attend USC’s pool party and camp last month but couldn’t make it in. He has visited LSU, Oregon and Louisiana Tech.
He said the Gamecocks are recruiting him hard but, “I don’t know anything about the South Carolina program.” He is considering taking an official visit to USC before making his decision which he plans to announce at his homecoming game.
More had eight sacks as a junior.
