South Carolina 45 - Vanderbilt 34. Both teams are rock bottom in the SEC in scoring offense and defenses, with Vanderbilt the only thing that keeps the Gamecocks from being 14th out of 14. We have shown we can score, but we've also shown anyone can score on us. Hopefully the home field advantage will help us stay on the winning side of things come Saturday.....
Gamecocks win 47-6 to improve to 4-6 on the season. I was close with our predicted score for the game, but was way off on the predicted score for Vanderbilt. Two lost fumbles and a blocked punt by Vandy resulted in all 20 4th quarter pts for us, and blew the game open. Now get ready for Kentucky....
Props to the fans that showed and stayed for the game on a cold and wet day. The D played with a lot more aggression today...and looked much better. Hopefully KY will still be feeling the effects of the Bama loss next week.
