South Carolina commitment Ronnie Jamison, the 247Sports composite’s No. 5 junior college wide receiver in 2018, has 4 touchdown catches this season.
In seven games, he’s hauled in 28 passes for 313 yards. The 3-star prospect from Highland Community College (Kansas) has also returned 9 kicks for 252 yards. His average of 28 yards per return is 12th among JUCO kick returners.

Jamison (6-2, 190) attended Irmo (S.C.) High School before enrolling at Highland. In 2016, he caught 17 passes for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also averaged 25.9 yards on kickoff returns and over 11 yards per punt returns.
The Gamecocks added his commitment on July 23. He’s one of four receivers committed to the 2018 class: 4-star Josh Vann (Tucker, Ga.), 3-star Darius Rush (Greeleyville, S.C.) and 3-star Tyquan Johnson (Screven County, Ga.).
Jamison is the No. 49 overall junior college prospect in the country. He’ll graduate from Highland in May. His next visit to South Carolina is likely to be the weekend of the Clemson game.
