Been around 70 years and seen a lot of Gamecock QBs and hands down Connor Shaw was the best of all of them. Leader, runner, thrower, and a true garnet Gamecock QB... Sure hope Rattler can leave it up to his creds. on the field....

It all worked out with Shaw in the end, but I remember plenty of times Spurrier being frustrated with him leaving the pocket too soon. That's why HBC kept Thompson in his back pocket for insurance.

Cinco is most like Shaw of the 3 QBs, but the silence from Beamer about our bowl MVP QB is deafening.

We were most certainly going to lose to UNC until Cinco came in for Noland in that game.

I still don't know what our offensive identity is. Hopefully we get one this season.

I think as of now the offense is a big unknown. Hopefully we will all get a positive answer to that question by week 3

I would think, and I have absolutely no knowledge of what is going on in team meetings and practice, that after Joyner's performance in the bowl game, that there would be plays featuring him to mess with defenses. If I were an OC, I would have a bunch of weird and trick plays featuring him. Rattler throwing to him in the backfield and letting him run or throw it, would be a good start. If the offense shows that a few times and then uses those formations in bigger games, it should mess with defenses, in my opinion.
