So many things I would like to see a change in. Still trying to pick the 3 I would like to see happen. What you say?

Well my first would be a wide open offense with our QB having the option to run and a deep threat

Get some Big uglies in recruiting for the offense

keep the injuries down

Stability, the overall feeling that things are getting better not worse, and a sense of innovation.

Recruiting improvement.  We need speed and skill on offense and we have little.  We're soft along both the OL and DL, easily pushed around.   Would like to see us play more aggressive on both sides of the ball.  Our play calling on O is somewhat predictable and our defenses  vanilla.

All the above along with develop players, team first,  some class (not talking crap when LSU hangs 50 on you), and a youthful coaching staff with new schemes on off and def (no more dinosaurs).

A HC that knows what is going on and doesn't have to review the tape to know what happened during games.

Accountablility from everyone.

Put the best players on the field first and don't wait till the fans boo to make changes.

1. Recruiting must be number one priority.

2. A modern offensive scheme.

3. Within three years, have at least some chance of beating Clempson...

1. Recruit to fit our needs, especially offence linemen , defensive backs and wide receivers.  2. Develop the talent we have through the position coaches.  3. Build a culture of working hard.  We're not going to get five star players anytime soon, but we can win with four and three stars if they work hard and play as team.  Too many players today are focusing on going to the NFL. We need guys who want to play for the Gamecocks for four years.

If you don't have guys who have focus on going NFL, you won't win many games given the talent in the SEC.

The only reason players choose the SEC, IMO, is that they think it is the best way to showcase their talents for a pro career. think about the economic circumstances so many of the best players come from - can you blame them?  Like any passionate fan base, we tend to think these players owe us something because we root for them to win, but we are a stop on the way to a final destination.

Think that is nice sentiment - but college football is a business. They don’t, for the most part, come here for an education. They come here to get the chance to show out and live their dreams in the NFL. Can we afford them a good opportunity to do so? Yes. Can they get a good education that will help them after a potential pro career? Sure. Are there a ton of NFL level players who are also team players? Of course! But you can’t sell “we want players who aren’t focused on the NFL” in kitchens and living rooms with SEC caliber high school players IMO. Just not the way it works.

I know that you guys are correct that looking to the next level is very important for the guys playing today. I certainly don't blame any of the guys who have opted out this year or previous years in bowl games. I do, however; wonder why many of the players at Clemson decide to stay. Obviously, playing on the major TV networks and playing in the College Football Championship increases their value. My point is Etienne could have come out last year, but decided to stay. Why do you think he did that? I think it's loyalty to the culture at Clemson. Maybe I'm wrong.

I want a coach to build a sense of team. It is very clear that this was lacking with Muschamp. With these guys quitting this season.

I want a coach that develops talent. Recruiting top HS athletes is great, but if you can't coach'em up to SEC caliber, what's the point?

I want a coach that plays to win games, instead of "not to lose'.

My top 3:

1) Solid position coaches hired

2) Better player development

3) Better strengthening coaches, sick of seeing our players get tired before mid-third quarter.

Agree with your first two, LOL. Not your third - I still believe that Dabo's/Clemson's initial success was due to buying players for the 2011class - nothing else makes sense.

If you cannot win playing by the rules, you are better off not playing.
Solidly disagree on the third. Sec football is a business where everyone buys players. There's nothing immoral about it so I'm for it.
