The 2018 South Carolina recruiting class just added another big-time recruit, 4-star offensive tackle Dylan Wonnum.
His announcement came just after 6 o’clock on Saturday night.
Wonnum, the No. 13-ranked offensive tackle in the Class of 2018, according to the 247Sports composite, is the No. 22 overall prospect from the state of Georgia. He joins Tucker High School classmate Josh Vann, a 4-star wide receiver, in the Gamecocks’ signing class.
The commitment to South Carolina will be made official on Wednesday, when Wonnum inks his National Letter of Intent. In the meantime, South Carolina fans, players, coaches and staff members will celebrate their latest addition.

Wonnum joins 3-star tackle Maxwell Iyama (Murfreesboro, Tenn.), 3-star center Hank Manos (Chapin, S.C.), 3-star tackle Wyatt Campbell (Lugoff-Elgin, S.C.) and 3-star guard Jovaughn Gwyn (Charlotte, N.C.).
Those four offensive linemen signed in December. Iyama, Manos and Campbell are currently enrolled at South Carolina.
