What would cause Hampton to leave early?

Hampton said he’ll wait to hear back from the draft committee and base his decision on what they say. if they project him as a 1st or 2nd rounder, he’s gone. if they say he’s a 3rd or 4th rounder, he’ll really think about what to do. so pretty much the case with most players.

I can’t see him getting a 1st or 2nd round grade. Maybe if he puts together an entire season next year, he could go that early. But I don’t see it after this year.

Also, as a side note, it does bother me to hear players talking about how they are training harder than they ever have trying to prepare for the NFL.
