The South Carolina Gamecocks are off to a fast start in the Ryan Hilinski era.

Yes, it’s only against FCS Charleston Southern, but the Gamecocks put up a school record for points in the first half, leading CSU 44-3 at halftime.

Ryan Hilinski: 22-27-259, two touchdowns. Also rushed for one.

Rico Dowdle: 10-87, two touchdowns.

Bryan Edwards: 5-112, two touchdowns.

Dakereon Joyner: 3-47, one touchdown; one catch for 12 yards.

Ahh, they reviewed and ruled he was out at the 1-yd line.

Kevin Harris goes ahead and scores his 1st TD as a Gamecock, instead.

looked to me like jamel cook blew a coverage on that poorly thrown ball to the wide open csu receiver in the end zone. 

 
Buccaneers on 4th and 6, on the USC 8 yd line, going for it. A FG won't help them now. We get Jarbari Ellis sighting, as he rushes the QB and deflects the pass attempt away.

Dak is now in at QB...

 
looked to me on the td cam smith was in great position to defend that pass but was thinking fade and turned when he shouldnt have.  if he doesnt turn he has a great chance for a pick

 
Couldn't have picked a better game to break in a new QB and maybe a new star RB. Could the the be the start of H&H? 

If Kevin Harris is capable of some big plays against SEC teams, this might be a spark that's desperately needed.
