Will 2013- 2014 Season Be This Bad ?

Do you think there will be improvement next season and ,if so, how much ? Can a young Gamecock team win ten SEC games next season? If not, what would be a good realistic goal for next year? I was hoping for improvement as the season progressed this season but have not seen it. Hopefully next season will bring progress.

Hard to tell. The good thing about basketball is one or two players can really change your fortune. Martin pulled a bit of a coup by picking up Sindarius Thornwell. Not sure how Martin pulled that one off. Rivals has him at #43 nationally while ESPN has him at #39. Desmond Ringer had a decent offer list, but not as highly rated. Big boy though…6’9”, 280. I’m sure he’ll bulk up some before hitting campus. McKie is a nice story because of the connection, but doesn’t appear to be a terribly impressive player.

Thornwell very well could be the linchpin for our future success. The recruit that turns thing around for Martin. If Martin can add another big recruit in next year’s class and build a solid supporting cast, then we could be in good shape.

Well, I don't believe it will be bad, we still got talented players, now what we can do is just wait for the season to start.
