little tidbit on another school's board - so the story goes: Charlotte City Council has approved a 125 Million $$$ remodeling appropriation for BOA stadium. Team management has thrown in another 125 Million $$$ - obviously a BIG dollar project that will close down BOA for at least 1 season.
Many posters on the Tar Hole board, where I found this information, expressed the opinion that the temporary home for the Panthres would be in Columbia at W-B. Many don't want the Panthers in Kenan Stadium, plus they feel Kenan would be too far removed from the Panthers' fan base.
What say ye, fellow Gamecocks? Will Tanner roll out the welcome mat for the CHARLOTTE Panthers' to use W-B for a season - at the historical height, btw, of our football history?
