Per sources, former Crestwood High School and North Carolina running back Ty'Son Williams plans to transfer to South Carolina provided he is accepted by the university once his transcripts have been reviewed. Because he was not given a release, Williams will walk on the first year and pay his own way and will be eligible to receive a scholarship beginning in year two. He will have to sit out the 2016 season but will have three years of eligibility remaining as he played in five games as a true freshman for the Tar Heels last season.
