It’s been so silent lately on the recruiting front. I’m keeping the faith in Shane’s recruiting ability and our coaching staff’s evaluation abilities. Knowing our glaring deficiency at the QB position, do you think this is our most important position of need? Of course the portal is our only option at this point.

Let’s hear what you think is our most important position to fill and who do you think we will get?

 
I think we are pushing hard for the Johnson brothers, and think that we are in the mix there. I think Barham commits to us on Saturday, which is huge. Losing Williams hurts just because of the fact that he is in our backyard and we devoted a TON of resources to get him - but in retrospect amazing we were even in it given our putrid offense. I think we will get a portal QB and if we hold on to Braden Davis, our QB room will look far different next year (or even this spring).

With the loss of McClendon because of his run in with the law, we prolly have about 6 slots left, with Barham getting one. Maybe the kid we are recruiting as an H-back gets one, and then after that it is latecomers and portal folks, and I think we will be strategic about that.

 
Those three would start a very good wish list.
