The larger size here causes my vids to pixillate and be choppy.

Is there a way to make the viewer smaller, ie, closer to the viewer size on CT?

I figure Cocky0 might know what the viewer size on CT was.

Actually I don't know what the size was over there, but I do know it was a good bit smaller. A quick search tells me that embedded videos are usually 560x340, so that might be a good place to start.

As for your viewing problems, that could be the result of the resolution set on your screen not jiving with the video's resolution. If you're running Windows, right click on your desktop and choose "Display". You should see what your resolution is set to in there. I'm currently on an older laptop displaying at 1366x768, and I don't have any issues with the video size besides the amount of screen they use. Otherwise they play just fine. If you take a look at yours, try to choose the "Recommended" resolution and see if that fixes your issues on playback.

My display settings are what they need to be, but I am also on a HD monitor.

The pixel mapping is what slows it down.

I have to put the WatchESPN window as a square window that's small enough to have a row of four game thumbnails at the bottom or it does the same thing.  That's a WatchESPN tip for anyone that is on low bandwidth like me.  Only a 6 MB pipe, but the minimum is going to 20 MB here and other places soon.  I guess that's how the cable providers are compensating for the increase in streaming demand (and lower cost).

I was just wondering if there was a way to make the YouTube viewer size smaller on the back-end.  The height and width numbers are there in the embed code, but that's not what this site uses.  It's the path that comes up when you click the Share link on YT.

Just a minor nit.

Do you guys want me to have YouTube show up on the site here smaller? If so let me know I can change it to show smaller.
