trump just had his college girl spokesperson stand up there and say he wants to bring iPhone manufacturing to the US.

how much do you think an iPhone made in the US would cost? $5,000? $10,000? more? ...I may have to take out a HELOC loan! hahaha

I don't view a trade deficit as a threat. And I certainly do not view it as a basis for any new tariffs. Broadly like this- so so so stupid.

The US dollar has been getting stronger before this announcement, its key to keep that strong to keep our economy the strongest in the world. There are investments we can make in our future to counteract reliance on China, technology/A.I. investments at home, trade agreements to keep their influence out, etc.

taxing/tariffing American companies for doing business around the world is not the answer and only hurts our companies and our economy. A weakened US makes China's influence stronger, especially in SE Asia
 
Trump backs down and "pauses" all tariff increases (except China) for 90 days. I guess all the market turmoil the past week finally changed his mind, maybe...

This. Confirms what I thought this is all about China and the threat to our national security. I also think he made his point that these can go back into effect if needed. The people who blinked are in congress that wanted to take tariff power away. Probably getting leaned on pretty hard from special interest lobbyist and caved.

Why didn't you panic when Biden was imposing Tarrifs and run his administration through the mud? Why didn't you cry when they put us in a recession and tried to redfine the word with the mainstream media? So they are BS tarrifs lol, they got 70 countries to renegotiate tarrifs after you cried wolf and Trump is the devil leading us to a nuclear winter recession for weeks 🤣 🤔 🙄

Nothing I've said remotely gives Trump a Carte Blance pass but I'm not running around like Chicken Little like you either... I didn't panic during Bidens inflation recession and his senile administration didn't have a plan other than the Green New Scam, Trump has a plan and has followed through on his promises 😉
