Putin/Russia calls up 160,000 conscripts

US Special Envoy Gen. Keith Kellogg: “Russia is losing this war. If Putin were winning, he'd be in Kyiv, west of the Dnipro, in Odesa, and the government would be gone.” He added, “This isn’t the Russia or Soviet Union I knew during the Cold War. Putin talks big, even about nukes, but the West has nukes too. Trump asked me in the Oval Office if Russia is winning. I said no.I told him to ask his Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Dan Keane. He said no as well.”

Being that the battle is over land I would say Ukraine is still losing. I get it that Russia has not overwhelmed them like many thought they would, but Ukraine has not been able to get their land back so…. Yes the costs in lives on Russia‘s side is huge, but they don’t really care about that. We look from a casualty standpoint and say they are losing, but this is not how the define it. Early on many said this would be over quick that Ukraine would expel them. I don’t see a way to end this without Ukraine giving up something and in Russia’s eyes that will be a win. As long as Ukraine pays us for the weapons moving forward I say keep sending them. I was just not a fan of us footing the bill for all of this like we were as we are pretty much broke as a nation.
