Colorado State is going to have to face the SEC Freshman of the Week. Congrats GG! Hope this is the first of many awards as a Gamecock!

Yeah, that would definitely be a coup to get Watkins. I read something the other day that made me think she's going to stay close to home (LA area), but I'm not counting Dawn out until she commits.
Fulwiley committed to South Carolina earlier today. That makes 2 5-star and 2 4-star recruits for the 2023 class. Dawn continuing to be a force on the recruiting trail.
No disrespect to you, but I disagree on how to defend a step back, but that's a discussion for another day.
Either way, the bigger point I was trying to make is that our problems on defense are coachable and can/will improve over time. The effort and hustle was there, which I feel like we...
It looks like we're in good standing with #13 overall Milaysia Fulwiley and still in the running for #1 overall Judea "JuJu" Watkins. I think we'll land Fulwiley. I think Watkins is more likely to stay close to home and choose the other USC.
Chloe Kitts and Sahnya Jah both sign with the Gamecocks:

Kitts is a 5 star forward, currently...
4-star guard Tessa Johnson has signed her LOI with South Carolina. She's a 5-10 guard from Albertville, MN and is currently ranked as the No. 25 recruit in the HoopGurlz rankings.

SC State did get hot in the second half. They hit some step-backs that you can't defend well, unless you're 10 feet tall or foul them.
We had spells where the d was really good and spells where they looked a little lost. When State made their runs, we seemed to be late on rotations more often...
Great start to the season. It's tough to tell given the level of competition, but all of the returning players look like they've improved over the off-season. If that holds true, look out!
I'd be down to play Washington. For a bowl game, I like to see matchups that aren't normally going to occur. I don't think we've ever played them and give it a 0% chance that we will try to schedule then in the regular season.
Can we win? Yes. We can win any game on the schedule, given the right circumstances.
Will we win? I hope so, but am less confident in making that declaration.
Oh, and Pringle the OT that just about everybody wants, is creating huge holes for his qb and rb to run through. He's going to be a beast when he gets into a full strength and conditioning program.
I'm at Woodland's playoff game tonight and he's definitely showing out tonight. Ton of rushing yards at qb and as safety has a pick 6 he returned about 55 yards or so and its only halftime. Dude definitely has some wheels. I'll be interested to see what his stats are at the end of the game.
