The SI article I read was a little misleading. The 48 hours applied only to players in the Final Four. Other players had to declare at least 10 days prior to the draft. This year's draft is April 10. WNBA season starts late May or early June, so they will be playing again sooner rather than later.

I didn't realize the WNBA requires players to declare for the draft within 48 hours of the player's final game. Aliyah declared earlier today. We will know the rest of the decisions by the end of tomorrow.

Victaria is out of eligibility. This year was her Covid year. Olivia still has the Covid year available. I don't know what she will decide, but I honestly don't think any of the seniors are coming back. Even if none of them come back, I still think we'll be a top 15 team next year. Possibly...

Good pickup. 7th in the nation in assists playing in the Big10...not bad at all. With Meechie being more of a combo guard anyways, I'm liking the idea of Cooper at point and having Meechie play off the ball more.

Yes, wear them down. Iowa's been using a 6 or 7 player rotation the last few games. Make them work and wear them down. I don't think they can sustain anything for a full game against our tenacious defense.

I don't think national commercials will allow a coach to wear university gear. The brand can't be thought of as showing favoritism to a particular institution. For example, in the Aflac commercials neither Saban nor Sanders are wearing their school's gear. Saban has worn some jackets that match...

Right now I would say anybody that can give us valuable minutes and stays out of trouble off the court. That's just my opinion...others might see it differently. We will start to find out in the next few weeks.
