Estimates vary but most historians place Russian WWII casualties at between 20 - 25 million. Human lives mean nothing to Putin. Short of someone inside his circle taking him out the only way this war ends is if tariffs and sanctions cut off funding for the war.

I'm pretty sure he was there longer than an hour and I don't see where Putin made him look weak. I appreciate him at least trying to broker peace. If this doesn't work I completely agree with you though. Back away and let them go at it.
I often wonder how much better a country Russia would be if it used it resources for the betterment of its citizens than being in a near constant state of war and conquest?
