Alex and Mike Dunleavy were on the local team when the Harlem Globetrotters came to the Memorial Auditorium in Greenville back in the day. I remember getting their autographed pictures at that game.

The Round 1 loss to Richmond makes you forget how good the 1997-98 team was, but they were pretty good, too.

I love the State image on the floor as well. Wish we had it on the floor at the CLA.

On a side note my son was one of the manager's on the basketball team for the '97 season. He also got an SEC Championship ring.

I'll never forget the 70-71 tourney championship. All of the previous tourney championships showed the winners cutting down the nets, interviews, etc. When we won the broadcast ended right after the winning basket went through.
