COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina (18-12, 10-7 SEC) travels to face Vanderbilt (10-20, 2-15) in the regular season finale for both schools on Saturday in Nashville.  Tip time for the contest is set for 12:30 p.m. ET from Memorial Gym.

i thought we played terrrible to start the game and end the half, doesnt even compare to the terrible start to the 2nd.  17 pts given up in less than 4 minutes. 

 
lawson, tap the ball ahead its an easy dunk.  his lack of awareness and bbiq kills us. that sequence where they were out of sorts and scrambling with nowhere to go and end up with an easy layup while we choke away an easy opportunity on the other end smh.

everytime we cut it to 4 we have a bad defensive possession and they get whatever they want.  so down 6 in a must win game, you put tj moss in the game, i give up.   yeah we've played terrible, but thats just dumb coaching.

Vanderbilt owning the 2nd half - scoring at will while the Gamecocks fall back to their Plan B of fouling and turning the ball over. 62-52 Commodores with 9:13 left to play....

....mind you, all this while Vandy has two of their top players in foul trouble on the bench....

TJ Moss enters the game, and immediately turns the ball over, assisting in the Vandy run.....

 
WOW, Lee comes in and we just give him layups with Moss just handing him the ball, come on GAMECOCKS! What a bad few possessions with Bolden chunking up one from the FT line, Moss handing it to Lee and Lawson just throwing up a layup instead of going up strong! Down by 10 with 9 minutes to play 52-62. I will say the refs are killing me allowing Lee and Pippen to use their off hand like a chicken wing to move our defenders the entire game.

Vanderbilt shooting 43% from the 3, and 58% from the field for the 2nd half. Vanderbilt is the worst team in the SEC this season.....we are playing our way out of any chance for the NCAAT as hard as we can.....

lawson tries to turbo his way to the basket and ends up flicking up an off balanced shot with little chance of going in on way too high of a percentage of his drives.  he doesnt know how to mix up speeds or adjust his drive based on what the defense is doing.  our shooters have absolutely killed us today, inability to hit any jumpers and to top it off letting the vandy perimeter guys get into the paint at will. 

1-11 from 3 out of couisnard, lawson, bolden, 1 assist 7 turnovers.  if we somehow win this everyone should go out and buy a lottery ticket. 

 
USC is so bad it is sickening.   Vandy is by far, the superior team today.   And that fact boggles the mind!!!!!!!!!  USC is pissing away any chance it may have had for the NCAAT.    i am VERY, VERY angry that this team is playing so damn bad lately.   Really pisses me off!

USC's guards have stunk up the court today.   That is the difference in the game.   Vandy's guards are badly outplaying our guards.

 
from a mile away you could see that bryant eurostep into 3 defenders coming.  bryant and lawson too often make up their mind what theyre going to do no matter what the defense is doing. 

 
USC never, ever comes from this far behind to win.    Barring a miracle, USC is going to lose, and will NOT make the NCAAT.   And might not even make the NIT.  The way they are playing, they don't deserve to.

 
Playing out the string now. This game is already over. Horrible preparation of the team for this game - just keep doing the same thing game after game after game. People gripe about the officiating, but this team is coached to be very physical and coached to body up and make contact with opponents game after game, and some officials are just not going to allow it go free....

That is Frank's fault for not adjusting to the way the game is called.   He wants the officials to adjust instead of him, and they aren't doing it.
