New coach coaching staff

Absolutely true.  I can see that more with the Muschamp guys like T-Rob than I can with Wolford though.

Can you tell I really really want us to have a good OLine? lol.
honestly our o-line is great at run blocking. They just don't seem to have the same aptitude for quality pass protection.

I have preached this before, but the O Line has been doing well under Wolford. We had a team with an immobile QB for most of the year and very few receiving targets. But we still had a 1000 yard rusher (actually over 1100) in ten games against SEC competition. Despite the D being unable to get the opposing Offense off the field (except after TDs).

The O Line is decent with pass blocking - the issues have been with blitzes where there are more rushers than the O Line can block. We either need to keep someone in to block - TE, FB, RB - or get the ball out quickly to the vacated position. Either way, the problem is with the QB - adjusting the blocking, changing the play call - and on the WRs, who need to fight to get open quickly and catch the ball when the AB puts it on them.

The O Line is the scapegoat for a poor Offense - but we have good linemen and more talent waiting in the wings. Wolford recruits and coaches them, and deserves credit for where we are now.
It is absolutely amazing how much better an Oline performs with better skill players.  I've never seen an oline that would be described as dominant who had a crappy QB or WR corps, for example.  I'll trust Beamer.  I only brought this up because I figure Wolford is probably the most likely coach to be retained since they were on the staff here under Spurrier.

Auburn is pursuing the head coach at Oregon, just talks right now nothing really serious, think he's using them to get more monies, contacts say that his agent is chasing the dollars for him.  Fields is denying any contacts with South Carolina, the ex players really want him to badly stay there, are trying to get Oregon to redo his contract.

The pass catcher have done a poor job with both, except for Shi and Muse.

Wolford seems to be an good coach, but I am told by someone really close that the players want him gone.

I'm pulling for Des Kitchens to stay at RB coach but I just read an article that said Jay Graham from UT could return to SC as part of Beamer's staff...along with Garrett Riley from SMU. Jay Graham is a for real football coach.

I also keep seeing the name Jay Bateman from UNC as a possible DC who I heard earlier today was currently ranked as the #1 recruiter in the ACC...a title Des Kitchings held at NC State the last year he was there.

I also keep reading that Beamer took less than many would so he could build an elite staff which allows for him/us to get coaches with-in the SEC and/or ACC to make what could be viewed as a 'lateral' move but we should be able to pay guys to move if needed. Like Riley and Bateman, etc.

If this is true it just seems to go along with what I believe, that he is a guy that plans well into the future.  He certainly understands that if he can build the right staff and win, his money will come in a big way down the line.  I've also seen Jay Graham's names mentioned in a few things.

With no additional insight (and I get that's not likely to be forthcoming given how this info comes about) I have a really hard time coming up with a reason why the bolded should matter.

I have too. Of course the UcheaT faithful scoff at such suggestions, that he would leave his alma mater to come back here. Everybody on Pruitt's staff has to be wondering what their future holds, though.

I have good resources as an guy that spent a little time in Journalism sports in South Carolina, just wanted to put emphasis on the reason they may not retain him, the information I have from an player but I  will not release his name says that an lot of players just do not respect him form some things  Champ allowed to happen on the inside .   I really probably should not have said anything but he is not respected, or liked by the current players.

I could see there being some strife if Wolford was seen as being "tougher or more strict" on his players than Muschamp was.  Which isn't hard to believe either.  I thought Wolford did a good job at Carolina his first go round so it's hard to see him being a true problem.

Hmmmm ... if not Connor, then ... Wilson? Kitchings? Bentley? And is this the opportunity to give Connor more time in the program to eventually BECOME a position coach?

A lot of people want Shaw to be an on field coach but haven't heard him say that he wants to be one.  He may be the one choosing to stay off the field.

Very true. He's also never *been* a QB coach before - this may be the chance for him to learn the ropes a bit?

Could he take on some kind of roll in recruiting possibly?
If I had to guess, he will either be some sort of GA/Quality Control guy or remain in Marcus' former role? 100% speculation.
