Running Backs Coach Wish List

How about Bobby Bentley, I'm pretty sure he is available and he coached one of the best in HS?

Duce just signed as AHC with the Detroit Lions. Jay Graham is a name to consider if he doesn’t take the spot on the Bama staff.

What about John Settle from Wisconsin...they always seem to have good RB's and he went to Appy

Or just go after Lattimore
I don't think he has any real interest in football at this point in his life.  Last I heard he is out in Oregon.  I've heard Everette Sands name thrown out a good bit.  I have not followed him over the years.

we need someone who has proven themselves capable to develop RB's on a consistent basis...what was Bentley's biggest contribution at the collegiate level in terms of developing a RB?

Since he retired yesterday, how about Patrick DeMarko (sp?) He was great during his playing career here and knows the program well. No coaching experience, but 10 years in the NFL as a fullback should provide him with a wealth of experience.

Georgia Southern is preparing to lose associate head coach/running backs coach Chris Foster.

A South Carolina native, Foster played at Gardner-Webb and immediately became his alma mater’s running backs coach following graduation. He then spent three seasons in the same capacity at Appalachian State, one season at Maryville College, and then the past three at Georgia Southern.

Foster has tutored four NFL backs, plus Appalachian State’s all-time leading rusher Marcus Cox.

May as well sigh him up. :football-touchdown-dance-smilesmall:
