USC-UNC football opener in Charlotte to be in ESPN’s ‘College GameDay

“College GameDay” is coming to the Carolinas. ESPN announced on Monday afternoon that its weekly college football pregame showcase show will broadcast from the South Carolina-North Carolina season opener slated for Sept. 2 in Charlotte. “Can’t wait! Tons of work to do between now and then,” coach Shane Beamer posted to Twitter shortly after the news was released. The show begins at 9 a.m. Sept. 2 and will air for three hours live from Romare Bearden Park in uptown Charlotte to kick off the 37th season of “GameDay” and the 30th year of road shows. (READ)
