What should our response be if Russia invades Ukraine?

2025 is going to be an interesting and unpredictable/not unpredictable year in many ways.

Just glad I don't live in NYC or DC where a possible terror attack might happen.

It will be interesting. The new administration has been pressuring OPEC to drive down oil prices to pressure the Russians to end the conflict. Russia has financed this war, and basically their whole economy off of a relatively high oil price. The last time an American president asked OPEC to drive down oil prices was a couple of years ago to try and address inflation --OPEC told us to go pound sand.

Surprise. Now Zelensky thinks we need to put boots on the ground. I would tell him to go pound rocks.
He asked for that along with a no-fly zone 3 yrs ago when their war started. 🤨
In the mean time, your new POTUS isn't playing kiss-kiss with Mr. Putin.
Seems the worm has turned.

Now, now this is not a political thread... McCarthyism might be dead again, maybe, depends on who agrees with you!

Amazing how diplomacy works when you are really after diplomacy and not after hiding the truth and laundering money...

Anyone think Ukraine can win this war, just curious 🤔
Anyone think this was really a war, just curious 🤔
Anyone think Zelensky is a good leader for taking his countrymen to war with Russia, just curious 🤔
Anyone see the irony in this loss of life, just curious 🤔
Anyone think sending all that money to Ukraine and weapons was worth it in hindsight, just curious 🤔

Anyone think Trump is a Putin puppet, just curious 🤔 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Um...Zelensky didn't take his countrymen to war. Russia invaded Ukraine.

If by "winning this war" you mean Ukraine defeating Russia on the battlefield and forcing a surrender, no.

If you mean forcing Russia to give up their attempted conquest of Ukraine and return their forces to Russia then yes.

Been watching Trump's visits to WNC and LA instead of sports. Forbes Breaking News on YT carries the complete footage of Trump's visits.

Rather than go on 3-hour rants, he's letting the local leaders and victims talk.

The round tables he's had are awesome. The guy knows his real estate development stuff and that will work wonders in the SoCal and WNC rebuilding. Much, much better than the bumbling nonsense of JaBiden. Kinda like The Apprentice, but better because it's about solving real problems.

The Greenland and Canada talk is a reaction to Putin's expansionist moves in Eastern Europe. 47 is going to be a much better POTUS than 45 was.

Putin will come to the table soon.

Um... Zelensky could have negotiated peace a long time ago and you think Russia gives back the territory it currently holds and returns to Russia?

If Russia wanted more of Ukraine it would take it, in my opinion.

It's kind of like that phone call between Trump and Zelensky being released to the public letting Russia know they wanted to buy "more" javelin missiles and were buying American oil...🤔 weird how Zelensky tells Trump the ambassador to Ukraine whom the Democrats used as the star witness tells Trump in the phone call she admired the last Ukraine president and didn't like him... 🤔

Negotiated peace? By ceding large portions of Ukraine? By surrendering?

How do you see it ending? You think after occupation for 11 years Russia walks away like we did Afghanistan, think about the political fall out and tell me how realistically you think this ends... not some fantasy, fairy tale ending.

I remember Russia walking away from Afghanistan as well so why not?

Because the US, UK, Pakistan, China, Iran and United Arab Emirates are not coming to save Ukraine and no one wants to see millions die like in Afg, MILLIONS, that's why! It is estimated that Afghanistan lost up to 11% of its population during that war, though it may have broke up the Soviet Union...
