In my neighborhood, I’ll say that if a kid starts to come down with a cold, a COVID test is done. No questions asked, almost routine now. Now as far as adults go….I know a ton of people who refuse to get tested unless they are worried about needing to go to the hospital...it is craziness
As for the outdoor events, I just can't help but think that it spreads very poorly in wide open spaces
I was at a charity event called Bourbon and Bow ties 2 weeks ago. It was outdoors but in a covered area. Event was packed, talking shoulder to shoulder people drinking bourbon and eating food. No one in our party of 8 had any issues other than hangovers. We are all vaccinated
