I wonder who counted them allI spent some time on google for this...apparently AK has over 40% of the U.S.'s surface water resources. In addition to Blitzkrieg's number of rivers, it has over 3 million lakes >5 acres -- which to me is a staggering number.
Well I should have given credit to Alaska Department of Fish and Game.I wonder who counted them all
I find that hard to believe with the Great Lakes. But Alaska is big. so maybe. Do they consider Glaciers as surface water. Because that would certainly add up.apparently AK has over 40% of the U.S.'s surface water resources.
it is a great question...I looked it up...12,000 rivers...crazy! I just read that 3/4 of all fresh water in Alaska is stored as glacial iceI find that hard to believe with the Great Lakes. But Alaska is big. so maybe. Do they consider Glaciers as surface water. Because that would certainly add up.
Correct. That's amazing any way you cut it.it is a great question...I looked it up...12,000 rivers...crazy! I just read that 3/4 of all fresh water in Alaska is stored as glacial ice
I remember reading it was quite a few. 37?How many South Carolinians died defending The Alamo?
30? for some reason I though it was like 100's, as big of a deal Tennessee makes about it.10? I know that Tennessee had the most at around 30 as it gave us the nickname as the volunteer state.
Not quite that many. When I was looking it up I read where there was a sign in Saluda County stating "Texas starts here".I remember reading it was quite a few. 37?
Closer. Travis and Bonham where the big names but there were some more.10? I know that Tennessee had the most at around 30 as it gave us the nickname as the volunteer state
More than zero, but everyone but you went over.I'll go with the ol' trick question: zero
