I'll say Addazio, because I'd be disappointed in the hire, but at least I'll win something in the process.

Kendal Briles, and my second is Chad Morris, so I can get half the points for either one.

Would we have shot luring Longo from UNC? He was a name that was high on a lot of folks’ lists when McClendon was promoted. Maybe throw a boatload of cash at Petrino to see if he’s willing while he is waiting for another head coaching gig? (I understand the likely absurdity of the notion, especially since Arkansas fans are begging their admin to re-hire him to replace Morris... but I can always dream.)

For those who named Morris, I’m curious as to why. When he was at Clemson, they consistently put up huge numbers against weak sisters of the poor (admittedly even that would be an upgrade after this year) but usually looked pedestrian against decent defenses despite often having equivalent or superior talent. He made it to the SEC and managed four wins in two years trying to run his system at Arkansas. Uphill struggles trying to run his offense with Bielema’s players notwithstanding, what gives folks confidence his system will work week in and week out against SEC competition + Clemson when it really never has?

The Gamecock OC search, a name most Gamecocks are familiar with Mike Bobo

Dec. 02, 2019

Bryan McClendon, who had never called plays, had a strong first season with one that bottomed out. Based on the situation and the fact coaches often hire someone who contrasts with the coach just dismissed, it’s likely the next hire would be a steady veteran hand. (VIEW ARTICLE)

Lou Holtz is coming out of retirement again to call plays for us. He intends to take things back to the basics with Wishbone and Single Wing sets.

...when he was at UGA, he got no respect. I never saw their offense as innovative: drop back passer.

How would it come down if a big if Bobo to be the next OC at Carolina.

This could only happened if Bobo is let go at Colorado State, this season he was 4-8 this season in Bobo’s sixth as the Rams’ coach. Colorado State coach Mike Bobo: A former Muschamp teammate who built a lot of productive offenses at Georgia. He was tagged for throwing too much in Athens, then went to Colorado State and built a set of offenses that were mostly efficient, sometimes explosive and ran at an above-average pace. They were balanced between run and pass, maybe a little more run-heavy than needed at times, which fits the Muschamp style to a degree.
