Your top candidate for new OC

Why do you say that?  I always thought Bobo was a very competent OC.

Muschamp cant afford to take a chance on this hire.
Many people, myself included want to see Muschamp expand and not hire an SEC coach and a buddy of his like he has the last few times, this is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results (we all know what that is).  Also, it seems like UGA fans complained about him a lot. I think this hire would be yet another nail in the Muschamp Coffin.

To be fair - UGA fans complain about everything a lot.

Absolutely NO on Morris.  He did fine at Clemson but when they played us, we shut down their offense.  He had some success at SMU but when he went to Arkansas, offense wasn't good.  I see Arkansas as a similar team to us and do not like what they did on offense.  I think Morris' offense is too easy to stop for SEC defenses and I am absolutely opposed to him coming here.

I feel the a little better about Bobo but not sold on him either.  Balanced offense at Colorado St but too many  pocket passer, I formations and running the ball at UGA.  I always thought UGA's offense was predictable under him and we always matched up well.  Yes UGA was good but offense has changed and I am not sure he can adapt again in the SEC.

Give me someone outside the box.  Someone who has succeeded at a power 5 school with less talent.

BoBo was really pass happy for a while during his stint at Jawja. A lot of fans down there (their opinion is worthless) were raising hell because he didnt run the ball enough. The thing about BoBo is he does know the region well and should be able to come on board and not miss a beat as far as recruiting goes. Whether his offense will still be effective, I have no idea.

I would hope Hugh Freeze is A1A on our OC lists. After that I have no idea.

I hope not.  If we go that route then might as well fire Muschamp now.

Like the idea of the IU OC.
Look on the bright side....if Muschamp gets Bobo and it fails (which, I mean, let's face it, it likely will) then we can turn around and get DeBoer as our Head Coach in a year or two.

Just saw where DeBoer was on the Boyles Award list and a possibility for the newly open Colorado State Job...where he will likely be the next Lincoln Riley or Eli Drinkwitz because we were to busy giving people their very first chances at being an OC instead of hiring guys on the cutting edge of running a beyond successful modern offense at multiple stops and levels for years. I'm sure we won't but reach out now Tanner!!!! On the way down instead of on the way up is not the way people!! Failed as a head coach or about to retire is why we are where we are now.

A lot of Georgia fans want him back pretty bad looking at the message boards.   See: Matt Stafford, Aaron Murray, David Greene.  Also think he had the top SEC offense his last year at Georgie which got him the CSU job.

He’s not the most flashy name but certainly almost a sure thing hire.  I mean his offenses were better at GA than Spurriers were here.

If we miss on Morris and Bobo goes to UGA then who do we turn to?
hopefully it would force us into going after guys who should have been ahead of bobo and morris on our list to begin with.  if the hire is bobo i wonder if that makes it more likely that bmac stays.

Our top 2 are Morris and Bobo? So much for going out of a comfort zone sheesh

Bobo aint going to Jawja. He and Smart are all but blood brothers. I just dont see Smart bringing Bobo on because it would be a huge strange on their relationship. I mean hell, they were best man in their weddings and I also believe Bobo is God Father to his kids. It would be very uncomfortable for both to work together.

I believe the plan is for Bmac to stay and coach the WRs regardless.

How many Bobo's we got here? send out some Fanatics Cash here
