do you know the breakdown on ages and vaccination status?Today's update from our county health dept.: 440 cases last week; same week last August, we had 25.
No, I don't - but if see those stats I will post them.do you know the breakdown on ages and vaccination status?
Same reason nurses are. It's not worth losing a license over.Yeah I get that the entire medical system is overworked and under stress but how does Doctors walking out help the situation? It seems to me that they're just making the situation worse for their peers who are still in the trenches.
We can't turn anyone away. While it is a well intended law, it costs a lot of time and resources, even pre COVID.Sounds like piss poor hospital management. Not that it's an excuse. Probably a big part of the reason you, and others are leaving.
Yeah, I figured there were laws around that... It's gotta be frustrating for the medical staff. And for patients that are vaxxed that get turned away due to insufficient space.
No way! I was just there for the last 2 weeks of July. Went to San Juan Is, Mt. Baker, hiked local trails, etc. Amazing weather! Currently in Denver.Bellingham, WA
Whaaaaat? Damn I could have taken you the top 10 Bellingham breweries (yup, we've got at least 10)!No way! I was just there for the last 2 weeks of July. Went to San Juan Is, Mt. Baker, hiked local trails, etc. Amazing weather! Currently in Denver.
while I agree that it is probably the law, we still triage organ transplants etc based on health of individual as well as lifestyle choices...so I don't see how it would be any different to triage covid care based on decision to be vaccinated or not now that it is has gained full approvalWe can't turn anyone away. How? There's no database of who does and doesn't have the vaccine.while I agree that it is probably the law, we still triage organ transplants etc based on health of individual as well as lifestyle choices...so I don't see how it would be any different to triage covid care based on decision to be vaccinated or not now that it is has gained full approval
well that is a good pointHow? There's no database of who does and doesn't have the vaccine.
Is there an antibody test that can check? Or I wonder if there is, and you've had a Covid, it would be the same antibodies. How? There's no database of who does and doesn't have the vaccine.
Lol make a Covid pt move blocks around to get a bed.Dude, when I went for my kidney transplant evaluation I had to do that football drill where you pick up a block of wood on the ground at 5 yards turnaround and go back and pick one up at 10 yards and back while they stopwatched my amputee butt. Talk about pressure. Also had to get cleared by a psychologist, dietician, surgeon and a social worker. Felt kinda like going before a death panel.
Ok. I'm around five years in to what they estimated would be a 5-7 year wait. Coronavirus stopped the whole process for awhile but as far as I know they are back doing transplants at this time.Lol make a Covid pt move blocks around to get a bed.
Good luck with the process keep us up to date!
I read they are submitting for full approval this week. It took the FDA about 3 months to review and approve all the data for pfizerHas anybody heard how the Moderna vax is tracking for FDA approval? I've looked for information, but haven't seen anything.
our hopsitals just shut down (again)...I hope that you don't get held up any further!Ok. I'm around five years in to what they estimated would be a 5-7 year wait. Coronavirus stopped the whole process for awhile but as far as I know they are back doing transplants at this time.
