... aaaaaaaand Tracy Rocker leaves Auby to be DL coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. Auby now has to search after most openings have been filled ... karma sucks.

The Eagles didn't hire Duce as their new HC.

The Philadelphia Eagles are replacing their Super Bowl-winning head coach with his former Super Bowl-winning assistant.

The Eagles have agreed to terms with Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni to become their new head coach, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports. The team has since confirmed the hiring of Sirianni.

As the new Eagles coaching staff materializes, coaches still on contract are weighing their options. Longtime Eagles assistant Duce Staley has asked to be released from his contract, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. Staley has a few teams interested in his coaching services, according to Garafolo. Staley will meet with owner Jeffrey Lurie and go on from there.

No, Duce got hosed. He will get a new gig, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in Indy.

I guess this is why coaches normally clean house when they come into a program.  Can’t blame him for going to the NFL.  I would be more upset if he went to another college program.  I don’t think he intended to leave until the Falcons came calling.

Duce has taken an RB/AHC gig with the Lions ... Graham would be a great hire, although he is apparently looking at a potential spot on the Bama staff, too.

Agreed 100%

According to the 247 article, apparently SC asked Kitchens twice to modify his contract (https://247sports.com/college/south-carolina/Article/Des-Kitchings-takes-an-NFL-job-160035740/}.  I wonder what we asked him to change, and if that had any part in his decision to leave? I wonder if we did this to ourselves?  I have no idea what we asked to modify, but if it was something significant like salary, title or length of contract then this is on the University.  Or not, it was the NFL that came calling.
