I should have said first year QB, but it's all the same now isn't it? He's playing like a True FR regardless and needs to play better.
Fixed my error. Thanks for pointing that out, but it doesn't change our starting QB's performance one iota.

who are you all going to get? Our schedule will always be brutal and it is time to face the reality that we are not a top tier program nor can we pay like a top tier program...Chadwell would be a good get but I certainly would not come here if I were him as he will get better opportunities. I think that CSB is fine as the HC but he needs to surround himself with better coordinators starting with OC....as for Sellers, I am still ready to give him a chance...our OL has not made his life easy at all...with the new NIL, I am sure we will get raided and Stewart will leave but at some point we must accept that we are no more than the prep team for the big boys and a minor league in terms of losing our talented players...NIL killed us and will continue to do so and if there is a 40 team super league, I certainly hope that there is no relegation in that system...

Same. The Ole Miss and Bama losses have been tough on everyone. We were rolling along pretty good until LaNorris and Rocket got hurt about the same time. I do think Shawn Elliott has made a positive difference with our run game, too.
I think Oklahoma is beatable just like Ole Miss and Bama were, but I think we will get this one. It will be close, but we'll get it. I also think there will be some more realistic expectations/rankings for other SEC teams after this weekend. I think it's going to be some good football, hopefully with some wins as well.
We played a lot better against Ole Miss and Bama than most folks expected and I am looking forward to this weekend. The SEC is what it is and the games are always going to be close.
He is a decision or 2 and a good FG kicker from taking lsu and bama to OT or beating them... the last Tr Fr's I remember were Hilinski, Bentley and Mcllwain, all run off by fans
or for sure helped out the door by not having fan support, similar to folks that wanted to run Rattler off and the Garcia v Shaw v Thompson idiotic debate from Gamecock fans and thier infinite knowledge of football! Huh? He’s 116-58 as a head coach. He’s been moving up the ranks, and someone is going to snatch him up sooner or later. Could be us.
I don’t think that Beamer is gone after this year… unless we find a new AD and he finishes with a losing season. I think he gets told in no uncertain terms that he needs a new OC and a bowl game appearance in ‘25. All depends on the AD.

You want to see a bitter fan that is stuck in negative dispair, caught in a cycle of I'm smarter than the program and if they had listened to me we would have won, a fan that even his posts went from we to they when referring to the school, team... a fan that just wants to be right, that will start a post off telling you he was wrong about how good this team is and still ends it with they suck... a fan that thinks starting over every 3-5 years will eventually give different results, that talking crap about the coaches, calling for them to be fired and eating the program from the inside out in the middle of seasons helps recruiting and is good for the team he is a fan of... college football fans lol

Given the talent in this year's class, I am hoping we turn the corner against the Sooners and I think it's possible.
I think its possible for sure, it should be an interesting game two good defenses vs 2 not very good offenses. It might be a 17-14 type slug fest. I think we have the edge in special teams, as long as we don’t try any more 50yard fg’s.
Same, but part of me thinks Rocket will bust out this game since he looked like he was at full strength against Bama. That threat of Sellers and him both running kept defenses honest early in the season.

Yeah, looking at the schedule we beat Wofford. Should beat Vandy. Need to figure out a way to win at least 1 out of OU, A&M, mizzou and Clemson. Carolina will be an underdog in all of them.
Need to win out, should have won every game we played up to this point but the rebel game. Found a way to lose those games, gave away those games and don't need to do that the rest of the year! Starts in Norman, OK with a complete game from the Gamecocks in place Coach Beamer knows well... maybe we can get some okl OL recruits while we're there...

All of the speculations on wins are moot, unless we solve the turnover and penalty problems on offense.

I think the end of the beginning. We were huge underdogs against LSU and Bama but got really close.
Today we were a 1 pt favorite and blew them out.
I think Beamer put it together and got this big win today. A&M better watch out.
One would certainly hope so.
OK, a few days have passed and we can look at things a little calmer. There are several issues that need to be addressed.
1. Our clock management needs to be better. As it turned out we didn't need it but there will be games that it could help. We were consistently snapping the ball with anywhere from 10 - 16 seconds on the play clock.
2. Why does Sellers trip/slip so much? Is it the infamous UA shoes?
Wrong cleats?
3. What is the deal with our RB rotation? We see Sanders for 6-8 runs and then he disappears for a while as Addaway gets 6-8 carries. Aren't most backs better when they get into a rhythm?
4. We have 18 - 19 O-Lineman on scholarship, surely we have some combination that can do better than what we have out there now?
