What should our response be if Russia invades Ukraine?

Could the grown ups please get these idiots to start diplomatic talks, this is going to get bad

very difficult to get someone like Putin to be diplomatic....any of his "diplmoacy" should be taken with a grain of salt

In the photo of Moskva after the strike, the radars “are in their normal stowed position,” Carlson told USNI News on Monday.

“If you look at the pictures of Moskva, when she’s just dancing around going from place to place, or she’s anchored as a showboat, those directors are all facing aft every time,” he said.

The analysis is based on images of the Slava-class guided-missile cruiser that emerged just after the attack off the coast of Ukraine from what the Ukrainians claim were two Neptune-class anti-ship missiles.

Have you ever met Putin, you ever been diplomatic with Putin? Diplomacy has worked with Putin in the past, it is not like the man has never been diplomatic in his life and it is naive to think that he is any different than being diplomatic with China or N Korea or the Taliban or Saudi or Iran and that has not stopped us...

...they're making progress, but have a long ways to go. Hard to say how long this is going to keep going.
The RU losses just keep piling up....but they have a lot of equipment.

Below are the results from an attempted pontoon bridge crossing from a few days ago. The UA allowed the RA to cross the river, then trapped them into a killing field. 73 confirmed vehicles destroyed or abandoned. Huge loss. The UA continues to show brilliance against a much larger enemy.

A tally of Russian losses from the infamous failed Russian Siverskyi Donets river crossing near Bilohorivka.
In total 73 Russian equipment were destroyed/abandoned, including a BTG worth of AFVs

Sweden as well. The UK has been heavily involved in this. It's as if the RU has chosen to self-destruct.
Yep. The dominos are starting to fall.

Strengthening NATO while backing the UAF the right way appears to be best strategy up to this point.

I think Putin has moved into the realm of Saddam Hussein and OBL in the eyes of many at this point. Regime change has to be in the back of many minds both inside and outside of Russia right now. No legitimate foreign leader in their right mind would ever come close to doing what Putin has done in Ukraine so far.

It's almost like he is a terminal cancer patient who has chosen the path of suicide-by-cruise missile rather than go through the debilitating effects of the disease in its final stages.

I have stopped watching the headlines everyday about the Ukraine conflict because enough countries have come to aid of Ukraine and I don't really see a purpose to Putin's strategy.

Both of these countries have excellent militaries and would make fine additions to NATO.

The RA (Russian Army) is actively committing atrocities in Kerson. They have continued to kill and torture people.

There is some speculation that the UA (Ukrainian Army) will be able to launch full scale counter offensives maybe in the next few months and may retake what has been taken from them. This includes integration of all of the western kit donated. The artillery + drone forces may be the real game changers.

The Crimea may also be retaken....but that's a long way off. Google Kerch bridge. No one takes Putin's threats seriously, so all of this is on the table with western support.

The effects of the sanctions may not take full effect until the end of the year & there has been some speculation that the RU may break apart into sections.

With the losses of equipment and no replacements coming anytime soon, it will take years for the RA to recover from this debacle.
