Well I'll assume you know and understand that when 2 nations agree to a televised signing ceremony the "deal" is supposed to already be worked out and agreed to.
Zelensky got on TV and then started carrying on about security guarantees which wasn't part of the aforementioned deal. I don't blame Trump and Vance for their reactions.

What does a war with Russia and Europe look like without America?
What does the immigration population of Europe do? The Middle East and Africa will have an opinion? What are the Religious leaders saying, especially with the Pope being sick?
I think Europe leaders will tell Zelensky the same thing as Trump behind closed doors, just my opinion, the propaganda may be a little different to save face but the message behind close doors will be the same from most in my opinion.
