What should our response be if Russia invades Ukraine?

Trying and failing

Relevant flashback: Biden raised his voice at Zelenskyy and told him to be more grateful in 2022

“The American people were being quite generous, and his administration and the U.S. military were working hard to help Ukraine, he said, raising his voice, and Zelenskyy could show a little more gratitude.”

Different POTUS, same attitude from Zelensky.

If he is successful and the markets boom then what? We are on day 45...
Ifs are fairy tales

Reality is tariffs are always bad for business, which is why the market is in the toilet

My portfolio doubled with the previous president by the way. Also didn’t have to worry about him saying stupid nonsense like taking over Canada or Mexico on a daily basis

Some would say that's because American jobs went overseas for the sake of corporate profit margins by the same amount. Stuff goes in cycles and that's why people say to invest for the long term and choose the right time to retire.

slapping tariffs on American businesses certainly won’t help matters

But Elon Musk is South African so maybe American businesses and American jobs aren’t a concern

I know Elon has said he does not support terminating the H1-B visa program. A lot of offshore Indian call centers and IT workers have put a lot of American counterparts out of work, so I am not happy with that. Had a friend who was part of an IT Help Desk who had all of their jobs offshored this past August. That stuff is as real as a donut. Cisco = India these days and India is in bed with Russia because of oil. The Internet Cloud is also India for the most part as well. Don't put data you care about in the Cloud.

I think Trump has flip-flopped on the tariffs enough that only he knows what he really wants.

I saw where we have now temporarily paused American intel to Ukraine. Macron and Starmer will be coming back with Zelensky if and when that happens, which is probably the way it should have been all along. That's a start.

Zelensky still doubling-down to the Ukrainian people.

Then our Sec. of State saying we haven't really talked to Russia about concessions yet.

Is that a Jewish Ash Wednesday mark on his forehead? First time a sitting Sec. of State has ever done anything like that.

Clear as mud. I don't think either country will concede anything, but that's just me.
The meat grinder continues.
