DHEC reported Tuesday that while hospitals are at 77.5% utilization rate, only 8.3% are covid. Of those 11.9% are ventilated.
No, I wouldn't mind those pay checks but usually there's a reason they pay so much. I'm switching facilities and trying out a new area.Hate to hear that but I totally understand. The sad part is this current wave was largely preventable.
Are you taking one of these 'traveler' jobs?
Good luck on your new job.No, I wouldn't mind those pay checks but usually there's a reason they pay so much. I'm switching facilities and trying out a new area.
LOL, +1 for that comment, and good for you!*not trying to argue anything with anybody
I use this NYT site for covid stats. The Map has by county infections rates, vax rates, etc.in the state of Tennessee when they report vaccination rate it includes everyone...I guess I never assumed it would include those who are ineligble by age in the numbers...how will we hit herd immunity when we already have 15% of the country who is ineligible? ~47 million citizens under the age of 12...in my county our vaccination was is reported at like 37% but when we remove children it is closer to 50% (which still sucks but better than I had assumed)
That is my go-to resource as well.I use this NYT site for covid stats. The Map has by county infections rates, vax rates, etc.

We have to piece together info since our governor has halted the release of numbers. However AdventHealth, one of our Orlando hospital systems reports that they have 1,350 COVID patients. Orlando Health reports 573 COVID patients with 91 in ICU. My little coastal county reports 575.3 cases per 100,000 people. The whole state is a death trap. I urge people not to visit at this time.

behind a paywall for me...can you see if they include all people in their percentages in terms of vaccination or just those who are eligibleI use this NYT site for covid stats. The Map has by county infections rates, vax rates, etc.

that looks similar to my neck of the woods as well...stay safe man...I am seeing so many middle aged to older patients who had covid and survived but continue to have lingering symptoms and that is what I don't think a lot of people consider (not your of course lol)We have to piece together info since our governor has halted the release of numbers. I think you need to sign up for a free account. I do not have a NYT subscription and can access it, but maybe I had to sign in with a free account initially.behind a paywall for me...can you see if they include all people in their percentages in terms of vaccination or just those who are eligible
