What should our response be if Russia invades Ukraine?

I think it rallies the Russian people behind Putin if they do that...
I sat down with a Russian/Ukranian family yesterday and this war is not near as black and white as it is portrayed according to them.
Good point. But if you attack a country you shouldn't be surprised if they strike back on your soil.

Share some of their thoughts with us if you can.

Especially if it's militarty targets, like Ukraine taking out Russian airfields inside Russia, that Russia uses to launch attacks from.
Yeah, it just strikes me as a little hypocritical of Russia to be crying about Ukraine's actions or the West supplying support for that matter.

Russians consider Ukrainians & Poles inferior species, so anything the Ukrainians do infuriates them.
The lies, arrogance, & pure propoganda BS coming from Russia is on par with Nazi Germany.

But some want the Ukrainians to "play nice" while Russia systematically tries to destroy Ukraine & kills thousands.
If this was the US being attacked, we wouldn't "play nice".

Agree, just think it could turn the tide of popular opinion in Russia as well as those around it supporting Ukraine... I'm not saying Ukraine can't defend itself but the fact is Russia can blow Ukraine out of existence and Ukraine cannot do Russia like that but instead maybe all of mankind as we know it for the price of...

And the world seems to forget that Budapest Memorandum signed in '92 that took the nukes out of Ukraine. 😳
Russia agreed to honor the borders with Ukraine. They've long since broke that multiple times while the US has done little to stop it.
Some of this is on us....we now have to pay for not putting our foot down earlier.

That's a great point and as it plays out the UN once again proves how utterly worthless it is.

I understand when people say Ukraine is not our fight, but any IT guy will tell you the cyberattacks and demands for ransom paid by American individuals and businesses in recent years have come from Eastern Europe (read: Russia).

All the major cyberattacks come from overseas now. It's the new digital battlefield.

Some folks might say the Internet has opened up the country to foreign attacks the same way air travel did prior to the 9/11 attacks.

Russia has become the problem for many things not just about Ukraine in recent years. We just can't look the other way anymore.

The boat’s origins were traced back to Iran, according to the release. On the boat were Dehlavieh missiles, the Iranian equivalent of the Russian 9M133 Kornet anti-tank guided missiles. The U.S. and U.K. forces intercepted the boat along a route historically used to illegally traffic weapons to Yemen, according to the release.
In the past three months, the U.S. and partners have captured more than 5,000 weapons as part of the seven interdictions, according to the release. Other weapons and materials seized include 1.6 million rounds of ammunition, 7,000 rocket proximity fuses, 2,100 kilograms of propellant, 30 anti-tank missiles and $80 million in illegal drugs.

The Royal Navy and U.S. Navy doing their parts to stop the flow of weapons potentially used by Russian forces in Ukraine.

Sa-lute!!

...yet they keep coming.

Who needs tanks when you got convicts? Easy way to make room in their prisons for political enemies.
Yeah it's down right evil what Putin is doing. Is there no one in Russia willing to try and stop this madness?
