What should our response be if Russia invades Ukraine?

Ukraine attacking arms depots deep in Russia will affect the conflict too.
When we attacked Iraq in the Gulf war, they had the absolute best weapons Russia had made. We had no problem destroying Iraq's military then. They had the best MIGs and the best Tanks they had bought from Russia.
Today, I do not think Russia's weapons are all that much better. If they are, why is Ukraine still in it. Using all the modern weapons Ukraine has been getting, they may actually start driving Russia back out. Russia just had time to build such tough defenses, it is not going to happen quick. And apparently, Russia does not care about losing so many troops. They just keep sending untrained boys into battle.

I don't think they had the best Russian weapons anymore than Ukraine has our best or any other country that thinks they have our best... in fact I know they don't have Russians best because they don't have Nukes or subs or... anyway good story. Don't underestimate your enemy, if that is our enemy your statement is niave at best...

I don't disagree with your statement at all when soldiers were in front of each other and not behind closed doors... I spent a good part of my career as a Camp Boss and Civilian Mayor or O&M Manager for NATO/American bases across theatre as well as working high level contracts with high level military personnel and they all talked shit, mad shit about, with respect sometimes and disdain others about incoming or outgoing personnel differences in opinion or ways of doing things or the who, what, when, where and how! Sometimes this happened in private and sometimes in high level meetings, in the ranks it would happen as well because that is usually when it happened in high level meetings! I could fill a book with stories of US, Australia and UK soldiers telling me how useless Iraq and Afgahnistan soldiers they were trying to train were...
