What should our response be if Russia invades Ukraine?

I don’t think any fabrication is necessary at this point. lol. It seems pretty straightforward. I think his dad was the one to withhold money unless a prosecutor was fired, but whatever.
It was a fabricated story. The "star" witness is now under indictment for lying to the FBI.

Surprise surprise. Another thing we said we were not going to do and another escalation in this war that Ukraine is losing badly.

If Russia is going to play with no restrictions why should Ukraine play with restrictions?

My point is where does our ever increasing involvement stop? Are you willing to put boots on the ground?
No, I'm not willing to put boots on the ground. I do believe that Ukraine should be able to defend their country by attacking the aggressor with any and all means at their disposal. This war could end today if Russia wanted it to end. Russia is the bad guy here, not Ukraine.

LOL! If Ukraine was "losing badly", Russia would already be in Kiev and wouldn't be importing troops from N. Korea to help them fight.

Fear mongering...about the same as appeasing tyranny. Most people are too young to "forget".

This is clearly not the same. If they attack a NATO ally then I am all in, but Ukraine is not and I do not think admitting them is a good idea either or we will be required to put boots on the ground for them. And if you do not think they are losing you have your head in the sand. The loss of life to men in that country will have impacts for decades to come. No fearmongering on my part, just want our increase in involvement to make sense. The fearmongering seems to be people saying Putin will take over all of Europe of we let him continue.

I agree they should be able to defend themselves to the best of their ability. I am just not sure how much that should involve us. We keep doing things we said we would not and things keep escalating. Who is to say it won't end up with us there on the ground. As the parent of a 24 year old son, I am not willing to have my son drafted into defending a country that is not an ally and was quite the contrary prior to the Russian attack.

It would appear so but it's not entirely black and white for everyone... bad guys change like that wind if you have an agenda, when you have an agenda, evil can always be around the next corner even if you are righteous! Sometimes boots on the ground is the only way and we keep poking the bear with a stick publicly for some reason instead of being diplomatic or shooting it in the head...make it make sense.

Russia is also supposedly in a population decline before they even invaded Ukraine. IIRC they have one of the highest suicide rates in the world and their birth rates are declining.

Incurring 700k casualties certainly isn't helping that issue.

I believe our approval of Ukraine using our missiles to attack Russia is really about the NKs more than anything else, but I don't know.

The Euro countries and Turkey are most vulnerable to Russian expansion and they need to pony up.

I know that I cannot control any of what is about to happen over there and I have stopped watching the news for the most part. It's just out of my control and the river of life keeps a flowin'.

I personally care more about beating Clemson than what is happening in Ukraine or Israel right now. It just is what it is.

I agree that Europe needs to do more.

Exactly where did you hear this from?

Do you have any idea what kind of state the Russian army is in? There is a reason they are importing troops from N Korea.

And what would happen to what's left of the Russian army if attacked under the full assault of western air power?

Your concerns of a mythical draft to send ground troops to fight Russia in Ukraine are misplaced.

Plus they are losing their younger population to immigration & war.
This is all on Putin.
