Shane's staff: Let's fill in the blanks as we go

Neither is Steele.

Maybe Odom to LSU and either Steele or Mason to ARK and then whoever's left comes to us?

You have to respect the lack of leaks regarding Beamer's choices at this time.  It speaks to his professionalism.
Whatever else he does, csb has demonstrated an elite ability to control narratives. From the hiring of coaches to the reason he wasn't starting this job right away. There's been one message without variation and he's been able to get it spread efficiently with secondary and probably tertiary sources. I'm really impressed.

I will make a fairly strong assumption he will do the same with his staff as well, in and away from games.

I have been thinking about this too -  I think part of it has been his complete transparency so far - nobody has been left wondering what he didn’t tell us, or what we need to read between the lines to figure out.

Sure that's part of it, but long before he explained why he was not starting the job right away, he had third parties spreading the message that he would eventually deliver in his own conference almost word for word on this website. That doesn't happen because of honesty. It happens because of control and attention to detail. (Presidential campaigns struggle to stay that on message.) For comparison, I remember champ forgetting that we had a bye the next week during a press conference.

He's got the organizational skills to run a great program. I'm not sold on other aspects but if this doesn't work out for him, sometimes needs to make the man a CEO

Agree.  He is probably privy to some very good advice on how to do things from his father as well.  I am sure there are so many things his dad learned along the way and that SB learned in his years to pave the way for this process.

Just like Shaw having a coach for a father undoubtedly made him a better QB.

I am more optimistic now about Carolina football than I have been in a long time.

It will take other innate attributes to succeed (same as it did with Shaw), but he's definitely got a head start on the learned aspects of the job.

Yes sir. I was referring specifically to how he has handled things to this point and agree with you on how he has handled the message thus far.  Let's hope that wisdom runs right on down to being a head coach as there are so many variables he will face.  I am glad to have a guy that wants to be here and seems to be grabbing parts of his staff that also seem to really want to be here.  If that translates down to success on the field maybe we can all have something to get excited about.

Strength coach finalists seem to be Aaron Feld from Oregon and Jamil Walker from Arky.

From Whittle’s from TBS Seems Walker now the leader for S&C coach Fields out.

“-- Also, another name to keep a close eye on for the strength and conditioning position is Arkansas coach Jamil Walker. Shane Beamer worked with him for a season at Georgia where Walker spent three seasons. Walker has just finished up his first season at Arkansas under Sam Pittman. There will be an interview conducted in the near future.”

Well, he's going to need to grow a really cool mustache if he's the choice.

An interview implies we will not be getting the full list of coaches this afternoon. If so, I continue my displeasure that csb didn't start the job full time right away.

We'll see. Conflicting news out there right now.
In any event, it does not look like we will find out today. Apparently the board is meeting today to only approve the contracts we already know about.
