Afghanistan held them off with AK'S and flip flops, no US aid, Ukraine is getting rich!Russia will get their azzes kicked if the UAF/ZSU can master combined arms & logistics to support an armored assault. But we just don't know effective those Russian trenches/minefields will be. If the UAF/ZSU gets stalled, they may be open for lots of arty & take losses.

The defensive missle system operators seem to be benifiting from their training. Saw on the BBC where the last two Soviet missle attacks on Keiv had no successful strikes.
The Patriot missile defense system took out one of the Russian 'hypersonic' missiles a few days ago too.
Seems the old Patriot system has been updated since the days of shooting at SCUDs.
