If I may use a ship metaphor…the shipping company has full trust in a ship’s captain and his sailors. They do have a bit of a concern that the head cook has never had to cross waters with such an expensive boats and large crew. Now after two years of journeys the cook has burned nearly every meal or has not given the crew enough to eat. There are more than a few trips during which the crew had to depend on the sail riggers to come down and help the galley out in order to get everyone home. Does the cook deserve to continue to be part of the crew or be in Charge of the kitchen if his product is just one disaster after another?

If the captain keeps the head chef, a mutiny is totally reasonable.

From my understanding of the metaphor, the cook ended up eating the crew.
He has served some nice dishes, I get the seas were real rough and the crew fumbled some burnt dishes... Give the new Captain and Chef 2 more trips as they inherited a sinking ship...
No Lloyd and players were in position to make plays but seemed to want it too much, over thinking, trying too hard on both sides led to miss blocks, over running the play, leaving a clean pocket into the arms of a defender, trying to make that big play and fumbling, over throws as well as running misdirection into zone when we put a man in motion and new it?
I also saw us just inches from making a play and our DLINE being tackled making a play often...
I also understand the frustration, it was hard to watch and down right maddening at times!
The offense is just terrible and that is being nice. Yes, we had no running backs today Juju and bell are not running backs. But still, just a mess that seems no one knows what to do. Now the defense reminds me of Charlie Strong defense 3rd down Charlie. Big issues that they play off from the players. players need to attack and not react to much open space may be due to the slow LB we have, but still, get the hands up on the line when the QB is throwing. close the gaps. This is coaching here as well. Tell you now Tennessee will score 66 on us. Mizzou I know you agree they play better D than we do here and they gave up 66 and most likely be the case here. Just hope they do not set a record with the most points scored at WB.
Simply put this staff will need a major overhaul. The offense this year and if the D is still not able to stop the run and the passing game then change there next year.

There is no metaphor to explain sucking.
The bad news here is you are not going to hit a home run hire. First, Tanner not doing. Why? Money and Beamer's low salary will play into it as well. A lot of OC that make more money than Shane. So you can name names to the best OC out there but not happening.

I don’t understand the fascination with Bell as a runner. His advantage is having the size of a TE, but too fast for a backer to cover. The talking heads make it sound like if you just get him the ball he makes things happen. I just don’t see it as a runner lined up in the backfield. I guess Lovasea Carrol is a bust as a RB? I do think all options need to be on the table at the end of the season. Something will need to change on the offensive (pun intended) play calling.
I think he is a runner only because he is better than what we have... we need Lloyd back in the game and Beal looks like a bust.
Beal has really played on one leg. Been playing injured all season.

6-4 we have 2 games, one a huge top 10 opponent at home and one a rival to play better! Hopefully we get Beal and Lloyd back for those...
I wish I had your optimism, we’re big underdogs (20 points or more) this week and I expect to be underdogs, again by multiple TD’s next week.

this off season will prove what kind of direction that our program will move under Beamer...the OC/offense is a train wreck and it is spilling over into the D...I think we need someone who can run the spread to mask some of our deficiencies...with this move I assume that Rattler will Transfer again (and probably have a great year for someone)
